Longowal : In view of the upcoming Haryana Assembly elections, the Congress High Command has appointed the President of Youth Congress District Sangrur Ad. Gurteg Singh Longowal has been appointed in-charge of Kaithal Vidhan Sabha constituency.
The appointment was made during a meeting of youth leaders from selected states of the country under the leadership of All India Youth Congress in-charge Krishna Albaru, In which Punjab Youth Congress President Mohit Mahindra, Haryana Youth Congress President Divyanshu Budhiraja, District Sangrur President Gurteg Singh Longowal besides elected youth representatives from Rajasthan and UP joined.
In this meeting, the performance of the Youth Congress leaders was reviewed and responsibilities were assigned to the leaders, under which Gurteg Singh Longowal was put in charge of Kaithal Assembly constituency. Thanking the High Command for this responsibility, Gurteg said that veteran Congress leader Randeep Singh Surjewala or his family members are contesting the election from this important seat and they will fulfill their responsibility with full dedication.
