Mohali: Mega Employment Fair was organized at Shaheed Major Harminderpal Singh Government College Sahibzada Ajit Singh Nagar under the leadership of College Principal Gurinderjit Kaur.
This fair was organized with the support of District Employment Bureau and Punjab Skill Development Mission.
This fair was inaugurated by chief guest – youth leader and councillor – Sarabjit Singh Samana.
15 companies from different fields participated in this fair, in which offer letters were given to around 118 students, offer letters were distributed among the students by chief guest.
Today’s fair was organized by Professor Rashmi Prabhakar, Convener of Career and Placement Cell. The success of this fair is attributed to the support of the entire staff.
Councillor and Youth Leader of Aam Aadmi Party- Sarabjit Singh Samana said that the basic facilities in Punjab especially related to health and education are being expanded and the structure is being strengthened at the same time, the government led by Bhagwant Singh Maan is promising to provide employment to the young generation.
Sarabjit Singh Samana said that the Aam Aadmi Party government is trying till the last moment to complete the work instead of making promises and claims to the people.
On this occasion, former councilor – R.P. Sharma, former councillor- Harpal Singh Channa, Dr. Kuldeep Singh, Jagdev Sharma, Joy Deep Singh, Prat Singh, Baljit Singh were also present.
