NIA issues non-bailable warrants against Babbar Khalsa terrorist Raman Judge and two others

Mohali : An NIA court in Mohali has issued non-bailable warrants against banned terrorist organization BKI (Babar Khalsa International) and two terrorists involved in smuggling arms, ammunition and explosives from neighboring countries. These non-bailable warrants have been issued against Ramandeep Singh alias Raman Judge resident of Baba Ramlal Nagar District Ferozepur and Harpreet Singh alias Happy Pasia alias Zora resident of Village Pasia Tehsil Ajnala District Amritsar.
Accused Ramandeep Singh is currently in Canada and Harpreet Singh is in America. The NIA counsel had filed a petition in the court requesting the issuance of non-bailable warrants against the two, which the NIA court accepted.
On July 10, 2023, the National Investigation Agency filed a case under Sections 17, 18, 18B, 20, 38, and A case was registered under 39 According to the FIR, Canada resident Lakhbir Singh Sandhu alias Landa is close to Harvinder Singh alias Rinda living in Pakistan. Rinda is a member of BKI. Lakhbir Singh alias Landa is working with Rinda to further terrorist activities of Babbar Khalsa International in India to disrupt communal harmony and create an atmosphere of terror in Punjab.
Landa and Rinda raise funds for the terrorist organization BKI through drug smuggling from neighboring countries and large-scale extortion of businessmen and prominent individuals. He is also involved in smuggling arms, ammunition and explosives from neighboring countries to carry out targeted killings and attack agencies.
Investigation revealed that foreign-based gangsters Ramandeep Singh alias Raman Judge and Harpreet Singh alias Happy Pasia alias Joora are also involved in this conspiracy, who are collecting money through hawala. They are using smuggling networks to send arms, ammunition and explosives to Punjab. During the investigation, both the accused were issued notices under Section 41 (A) of CrPC to join the investigation of the matter immediately.
