DGP Punjab Police tweeted that in an intelligence operation, Amritsar Rural Police busted a cross-border smuggling module by arresting two suspects and recovering 4 Glock-26 pistols.
He said that the accused were in contact with a Pakistan-based smuggler, who was sending large consignments of weapons and narcotics into Indian territory through drones and other means. He further said that more investigation is being done in this regard.
