CM Mann removes his OSD Onkar Singh from the post

Chandigarh, September 23

CM Bhagwant Mann has removed his OSD Onkar Singh from the post. According to information, Onkar Singh was on contract in the Punjab Mandi Board.

There is going to be a reshuffle in the cabinet of the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) government of Punjab today. CM Bhagwant has dismissed 4 ministers from his cabinet. Instead, 5 MLAs will be made new ministers. These MLAs will take oath as ministers today at 5 pm.

After the Lok Sabha elections held about 3 months ago, the reshuffle of the cabinet of the Punjab government was supposed to be fixed, but it was delayed due to the Jalandhar Vidhan Sabha by-election. Now just before the Haryana Vidhan Sabha elections and Panchayat elections, this change has surprised everyone.

This reshuffle in the cabinet is being done after looking at the performance of the ministers and the reports of their areas. Along with this, the caste equation is being taken into consideration by including new faces and they have been entrusted with the leadership of big districts.

Apart from this, Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann has given a return gift to the people of Jalandhar by making Mahendra Bhagat a minister. Because during the by-election, he told the people that if you make Mahendra Bhagat an MLA, he himself will make him a minister. Five new ministers will be sworn in at Raj Bhavan this evening.
