Meeta Rajivelochan visited Chandigarh to take a view of the programs Swachhata Hi Seva, Seva Se Seekhen and Cyber Security

Secretary to Government of India, Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, Meeta Rajivelochan visited Chandigarh to take a view of the ongoing programs Swachhata Hi Seva, Seva Se Seekhen and Cyber Security. In Morning she visited PGIMER to see the functioning of Sarthi Project run by NSS Volunteers. PGIMER Director Vivek Lal, State Liaison officer Dr.Nemi Chand, Reginal Director Jai Bhagwan, State coordinator of NYKS Punjab Mr. Parmjit Singh Welcome the secretary. She interacted with the volunteers in New OPD and during certificate distribution. Secretary appreciated the efforts of Chandigarh NSS Cell and PGIMER, NSS Programme officers and volunteers. Madam Secretary inaugurated NSS Day Celebration event by lightning the lamp, in Post Graduate Government College Sector-11, SD College Sector-32 and Post Graduate Government College for Girls Sector-42 Visit to Post Graduate Government College Sector-11 Secretary Planted sibling under Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam. She interacted with NSS Programme officers and volunteers to register on My Bharat Portal for more opportunities. Principle Rama Arora welcomed Madam Secretary. In SD College sector-32 Secretary witnessed the Cyber Security Event and in her interaction with NSS Volunteers Secretary urged to the volunteers to spread awareness regarding cyber security in community and volunteers do the course on cyber security designed by I4C. Principal Dr. Ajay Sharma welcomed the Secretary. State Liaison officer Dr.Nemi Chand, Regional Director Jai Bhagwan, State coordinator of NYKS Punjab Mr. Parmjit Singh. Visit to Post Graduate Government College for Girls Sector-42 Sectary was welcomed by Principal Prof. Binu Dogra. Secretary Planted sibling under Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam. She inaugurated NSS Day Celebration function and interacted with volunteers. She became the event on Swachhata Hi Seva, She Urged that youth is future of India, Youth come forward to resolve the new challenges and serve the community. She also urged that Swachhat Hi Seva must be regular feature of every volunteer and every volunteer must get benefits of My Bharat Portal. Dr.Nemi Chand, State Liaison Officer coordinated all the events in institutions and thanked Secretary for visit and motivation.
