Teams of Excise Department, Chandigarh Administration confiscated a total of 1450 cases of Liquor

In view of the Election to Haryana Assembly 2024, the Excise Department UT Chandigarh carried out inspections at various liquor vemds and some unauthorised liquor godowns during last week. The teams of Excise Department, UT Chandigarh Administration confiscated a total of 1450 cases of Liquor valued at approximately Rs 30 lakh. The Excise and Taxation Department is committed to maintaining strict vigilance and dedicated to enforcing the rules rigorously. Rupesh Aggarwal, ETC, UT Chandigarh stated that Department has already enhanced enforcement activities to ensure to curb the menace of interstate smuggling of liquor to and from Chandigarh.
