Corruption charges against former Punjab DSP, FIR registered in Mohali

An FIR of fraud and forgery has been registered in the Punjab State Crime Police Station against DSP Gursher Singh Sandhu, who is believed to be an encounter specialist of the Mohali police. A case has been registered under various sections of the Corruption Act.According to the FIR, DSP Sandhu is accused of buying the disputed land at a cheap price and selling it at a high price and extorting money from people by making false complaints through his own acquaintances.After this dispute, the informer with whom Sandhu had made false complaints against various people, the same informer filed a complaint against Sandhu in the Punjab and Haryana High Court. It was only after this that the corruption was exposed.
Baljinder Singh alias Tahla complained in the High Court that he had very good relations with DSP Gursher Singh Sandhu. On the instructions of the DSP, he filed false complaints against various persons. The investigation of those cases was also handed over to DSP Sandhu. In those cases, Sandhu collected lakhs of rupees from the parties in return for settlement. In the complaint given in the High Court, Tahla has also said that there is danger to life and property from Sandhu. On this, the High Court asked the DGP Punjab to investigate the matter and submit a report.
An FIR has been registered at the State Crime Police Station, Mohali on serious charges against former DSP Kharar CIA Gursher Singh Sandhu, who was allegedly involved in illegal activities during his posting in Mohali. In FIR No. 33, a case has been registered against Sandhu under Sections 417, 465, 467, 468, 471 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 13/2 of the Prevention of Corruption Act.
