About 12 crores worth of diamonds and jewelery recovered from the house of former IAS

The Enforcement Directorate (ED) has taken major action against Sardar Mahinder Singh, former IAS officer of Uttar Pradesh and former CEO and Chairman of Noida Authority.

His luxurious residence in Chandigarh along with Delhi, Noida, Meerut and Goa was raided. In this raid, crores of cash, diamonds, jewels, gold ornaments and suspicious documents have been recovered.

On Tuesday, the ED team raided the establishments of Sharda Export Group owner Jitinder Gupta in Meerut, the investigation was completed by Wednesday, after which raids were conducted at other places including Mahinder Singh’s house.

The ED team also raided the premises of the owner of Meerut-based Sharda Exports, his associates and those helping him in his schemes in Meerut, Delhi, Chandigarh and Goa.

According to ED sources, important information has been obtained from many documents found during this period, after which two teams of ED raided the house of Noida CEO and Chairman Mahinder Singh in Chandigarh. From where property worth crores of rupees was recovered on Wednesday.

Diamonds worth Rs 7 crore and cash worth Rs 1 crore have been recovered from Mahinder Singh’s house. Apart from these, diamonds worth more than 5 crore rupees and other important documents have also been recovered in the raid at the house of the owner of Sharda Export in Meerut. It is said that diamonds were found inside Mahinder Singh’s bed and wardrobe.
